Hi, I’m Marti, the maker behind Handiworks Design. I’ve been married for 14 years, and I’m a mom to a wonderful 12-year-old daughter who inspired my entire sewing journey. When her well-loved baby blanket began to fall apart, a gifted sewing machine and a little guidance from my mom helped me create a new one—and sparked a passion I never expected.
As a prior military and faith-based family serving in our local church in Crowley, Texas, my work is rooted in love, purpose, and gratitude. One verse that guides me is Ephesians 2:10:
“For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Today, I create baby items, table runners, blankets, and more—each piece crafted with intention, comfort, and heart. Thank you for being here and supporting handmade.
